An application (app) is a software program running on any platform. It isn't always directly accessible on the internet and must be downloaded to a smartphone or tablet. 

 

Apps are mainly created to organize our lives and help us run more efficiently and effectively.  Yet, so apps are created to entertain or educate us.

 

I created an app to organize my shopping.  The "My Shopping List Search" is an app that is used to help you create a list of items and then search each of those items through Walmart, Amazon, and Target.  This not only saves you time, but it helps you find the best deals as well.  Check it Out!
