ITEC 5560:  Development of Instructional Systems

In 2006, I wrote out my first teaching philosophy statement.  To this day, my core has held true to the belief that I would be a facilitator of education, supporting the needs of my students, providing a strong foundation, and allowing them to take ownership to construct and deepen their knowledge.  I have always wanted students to find learning fun in a motivating and challenging way. Creating a love of learning to instill a lifelong desire to know more.  For my ITEC 5560: Development of Instructional Systems course we were asked to write a philosophy statement for teaching, learning, and curriculum design.  Over the course of 16 weeks, I was able to adapt and evolve my statement. Please check out my original and revised philosophy statements below.
